Welcome to The Roof Top

In the early days of the church, people would gather on the roof tops to talk and share their lives with one another. I hope this blog can serve the same purpose.

This blog is designed to serve as an Online Growth Group for The Bridge Church in Cleveland, Ga, but everyone is invited to join in on the discussions about how God is working in our lives. Please feel free to watch the podcasts and join us in our walk.

Luke 12:3

What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.

Feb 6th-The Pregame Speech

Wow this was an awesome sunday. I was fortunate enough to be able to baptize my son today. While Patrick said he has never actually been in a halftime speech, I have been part of many. There is nothing more motivational than some one leveraging the emotions of others to create a special energy. I think our words are very powerful tools that have the ability to move people to do extraordinary things. With that being said, I would like for us to share a moment in time when someones words moved you to do something special. And for all the doubters; yes, God does care about the outcome of football games lol!

  2. I have played on several teams. I know how a speech can alter the energy and momentum of all of the players on the team. From motivational speakers to pastors, teachers, parents, family members to friends, each and every person can have a large impact on others lives. I want to play for team Jesus so that I can help contribute to "get the ball across the line to the end zone"!

  3. What a great message...give me the ball. And seeing the ending with so many people going through the baptismal process, especially great to see my friend Adam and Archer getting dunked!!
